One injured in Deer Creek Crash

Deer Creek, MN – At around 6:30 Thursday morning (July 18th), the Minnesota State Patrol responded to a two vehicle accident at an intersection north of Deer Creek.

According to State Troopers, a pickup was travelling east on County Road 52 and a passenger vehicle was heading north on Highway 106 when the two collided at the intersection.

The driver of the passenger vehicle, 59-year-old Dean Allen Rice of Henning was transported to Astera Health for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The 53-year-old man from Ottertail driving the pickup did not suffer any injuries.

The State Patrol was assisted by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Deer Creek Fire, and Astera Ambulance.
