Fergus Falls, MN – At around 5:54 Tuesday evening (July 23rd), the Fergus Falls Fire Department received a report of a landscaping truck on fire near the Fergus Falls Airport.
When first responders arrived, they located the Atlas Outdoor Services truck on the side of Highway 210 and quickly began work on extinguishing the flame.
Officers from the Fergus Falls Police Department assisted in blocking the eastbound lane while the fire was being put out.
According to Division Chief Chris Harig, the fire is believed to have been caused by an oil leak in the truck’s engine compartment.
The truck is considered a total loss, however the attached trailer was not damaged.
