Battle Lake, MN – At around 9:41 Friday evening (August 9th), the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a boat that had been submerged on Deer Lake in Everts Township, north of Battle Lake.
It was reported that there were four juveniles in the water.
The caller was able to get all four occupants of the boat out of the water and onto his pontoon.
All four juveniles were brought to shore.
Three of the juveniles were uninjured and the fourth was transported to Lake Region Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
