Fergus Falls, MN – The City of Fergus Falls has provided updates on the total reconstruction of Summit, Laurel, and Linden Avenues.
City officials say that the large amounts of rain this summer have slowed progress on the project.
The underground utilities are completed and installed.
The curb and gutters are in and the three streets are in various stages of asphalt paving.
This week the topsoil will be restored, and the road base is being tested on Linden.
Once that is dry enough to pass the test, paving will resume.
Streets are still passable, and residents can access their properties.
Everything but the final layer of asphalt is scheduled to be complete before the snow falls.
