Rollag, MN – The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a two vehicle collision north of Rollag at around 1:25 Tuesday afternoon (August 27th).
According to the official report, 91-year-old August Marvin Frisk of Hawley was heading south on Highway 32,
67-year-old David B. Merchen of Crofton, Nebraska was heading west on 90th Avenue South, when he failed to stop at an intersection and collided with Frisk’s car.
Neither driver was injured, however Merchen’s wife, 64-year-old Toni L. Merchen, was transported to Sanford Health for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Hawley Fire, and Barnesville EMS.
