Hoffman, MN – The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a semi crash in Roseville Township, southwest of Hoffman, at around 3:38 Saturday afternoon (September 7th).
According to the official report, a semi driven by 25-year-old Michael Joel Vanderwalt of Long Prairie was travelling west on 120th Street. A minivan driven by 53-year-old Encarnacion Potuguez Benito of Melrose was heading south on Highway 59 when the vehicles collided in the intersection. Benito was transported to Sanford Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Vanderwalt was reportedly uninjured.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and Hoffman Fire/First Responders.
