Breckenridge, MN – At around 8:10 Sunday evening (September 29th), the Minnesota State Patrol responded to an accident involving a tractor in rural Breckenridge.
According to officials, the John Deere Tractor, driven by 40-year-old Tyler James Slettedahl of Breckenridge, was travelling north on Highway 75. A pickup truck, driven by 18-year-old Darin Michael Vanhorn of Morris, was also travelling north on Highway 75, when the two vehicles collided near mile marker 201.
Both drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries, with Slettedahl being transported to St. Francis Medical Center and Vanhorn being transported to Sanford Health in Fargo.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident.
The State Patrol was assisted by Breckenridge Fire and Police Departments, and the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office and Ambulance.
