New York Mills, MN – At around 5:50 Monday evening (October 14th), the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department responded to a collision between a horse-drawn Amish buggy and a minivan in rural New York Mills.

According to officials, both vehicles were travelling south on County Highway 67 near 370th street when the minivan collided with the rear end of the buggy, causing the accident. The driver of the buggy, 40-year-old Mable Stauffer, suffered severe injuries and was transported to Perham Health for further evaluation.
