UPDATE: The woman killed has been identified as Gisela Christine Tervola.
Breckenridge, MN – The Minnesota State Patrol says one person was killed and another seriously injured in a head-on collision near Breckenridge.
At around 3:04 Monday afternoon (October 14th), the State Patrol responded to the scene of a head-on collision on Highway 210, four miles east of Breckenridge. 83-year-old Gisela Christine Tervola of Fergus Falls was killed in the accident. 30-year-old Dillon Todd Church of Parkers Prairie suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. Church’s condition is currently unknown.
The State Patrol is investigating the incident.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Wilkin County Sherriff’s Office and the Breckenridge Fire Department.
