Rice Lake, MN (KDLM) – The White Earth Police Department is investigating the tragic death of a one-and-a-half-month-old infant in Rice Lake. Officers responded to a call on October 16, where they attempted life-saving measures, but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful.
In a press release, White Earth Tribal Police expressed their condolences to the family, encouraging the community to keep them in their thoughts during this difficult time. Mental health and behavioral services were on-site to provide support to the family and community.
The investigation is ongoing, with assistance from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office, and local ambulance services.
