Detroit Lakes, MN – A 44-year-old missionary from Detroit Lakes was killed Friday in Africa.
According to Lakes Area Vineyard Church Lead Pastor Troy Easton, “Beau Shroyer was killed in an act of violence while serving Jesus in Angola, Africa.”
Easton says the church was notified by the Chief Personnel Officer & General Counsel of SIM-USA – the organization Shroyer was serving with. Shroyer was married with five children.
