Energy Assistance Available as Fall Winds Down

(Undated) – An energy assistance program is helping Minnesotans stay warm and safe this winter season.

Department of Commerce Program Director Michael Schmitz says, “You could have a family of four and earn up to $68,000 per year to potentially qualify for the program.

And if you or someone you know could be a family member, a neighbor, or a friend, if they’re struggling to pay their energy bills, we encourage folks to apply.”

Schmitz recommends applying for help as soon as possible so your application can be processed before it gets too cold out.
