UPDATE: The woman killed in Wednesday’s accident has been identified as 55-year-old Rebecca Ann Shahin of Sebeka.
New York Mills, MN – The Minnesota State Patrol is reporting one woman dead following a collision in rural New York Mills early Wednesday morning (November 27th).
Officials say that at around 2:40 a.m., a pickup was heading east on Highway 10 towards Perham and a sedan was heading north on Haberhan Road when they collided.
The driver of the sedan, 55-year-old Rebecca Ann Shahin of Sebeka, died at the scene.
The pickup’s three occupants from Miles City, Montana, a 51-year-old man, a 55-year-old woman, and a 15-year-old boy, were uninjured.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department, Perham Fire Department, and Perham Ambulance.
