Two-Vehicle Crash Near Parkers Prairie Leaves One Seriously Injured

Parkers Prairie, MN (Voice of Alexandria) – On Friday afternoon, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 12 and Thoennes Lane near Parkers Prairie. When deputies arrived at the scene, they reportedly found two vehicles located in the ditch in a T-bone crash in the intersection.

Evidence located at the scene shows a Ford Fusion driven by Dalton Boesl, 20, of Brandon, was traveling eastbound on Thoennes Lane when he failed to yield at the intersection and struck a Buick Encore driven by Blake Johnson, 33, of Henning. The driver and three passengers of the Buick Encore were wearing their seatbelts. They were taken to Alomere Health with non-life-threatening injuries. Boesl was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to Alomere Health with serious injuries.

The crash is under investigation by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by North Memorial Ambulance, Parkers Prairie Ambulance and Millerville First Responders.
