Fergus Falls, MN – Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) announced they have recently been named to Newsweek and Statista’s “America’s Best-in-State Hospitals 2025”, highlighting 700 leading hospitals at the state level to help patients find trusted medical facilities no matter where they live.
This year’s rankings include facilities in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The rankings were compiled using quality metrics from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the AHA Annual Survey of Hospitals Database, a nationwide online survey among medical professionals, results from HCAHPS patient experience surveys and a voluntary PROMs (Patient-Reported Outcome Measures) implementation survey.
There were 20 facilities named to the list in Minnesota. Lake Region Healthcare was one of only four on Minnesota’s list to also earn additional recognition for outstanding patient experience with a patient satisfaction award.
“This recognition belongs to our deserving and dedicated staff and team of medical practitioners who are deeply committed to providing exceptional healthcare to the communities we serve,” said CEO, Kent Mattson. “The surveys and metrics used to measure performance to be included in the award make this listing a well-deserved validation of their quality work.”
According to Newsweek, they offer the list to help people make informed health care choices for themselves and their loved ones. Click here to see Newsweek’s full list.
