Elbow Lake, MN – Lake Region Healthcare announced that its Elbow Lake Outpatient Rehabilitation Department has been named a Human Experience (HX) Guardian of Excellence Award® winner by Press Ganey, a global leader in healthcare experience solutions and services. This award is part of Press Ganey’s annual ranking of the top hospitals and health systems in the country, according to performance in patient experience.
As a winner of the Press Ganey HX Guardian of Excellence Award®, LRH is in the top 5% of healthcare providers in delivering outpatient rehab in the last year. “It is a reflection of the daily commitment by our physical, occupational and speech therapists to use evidence-based best practices combined with a compassionate person-centered approach to helping people rehab from illness or injury,” said the department’s Director, Angie Conklin.

A pediatric therapy gym has recently been added in Elbow Lake and many specialty therapies are offered in the department including FEES swallow testing, SOS feeding for pediatrics, hand therapy, concussion management, driver rehabilitation, BFR, Astym and more.
