Fergus Falls AAUW Received Five-Star Achievement for 2024

Fergus Falls, MN – American Association of University Women (AAUW), Fergus Falls, achieved a star in AAUW’s Five-Star Program. Fergus Falls attained the Communications and External Relations star.

“This recognition is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and commitment of your branch members to advancing AAUW’s mission of gender equity for women and girls,” according to Tremayne Parquet, Deputy Director of Advancement, AAUW National.

“The Five-Star Program is designed to honor branches that align their work with AAUW’s strategic priorities in areas such as Advancement, Public Policy & Advocacy, Governance and Sustainability, Programing, and Communications & External Relations. Earning a star is an incredible accomplishment, and we are thrilled to celebrate this success with you,” according to Parquet.

AAUW Fergus Falls hosts the Tour of Homes to raise scholarships for local women. AAUW further provides programs in STEAM (Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering, Math) for school age girls, and organized the election forum for the school board candidates, along with many other programs.
