“Tuesday Trek: Sunset Lake Trail” at Glendalough on January 28th

Battle Lake, MN – Join Park Naturalist Dora on a stroll around Sunset Lake in Glendalough State Park at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28th. The trail is a 1-mile loop with slight rolling hills through the prairie and woods.

Participants will learn about the cultural and natural history of the lake as they walk. Dress for the weather conditions that day. Meet at the Sunset Lake parking lot.

In the event of enough snow coverage and favorable weather conditions, we will snowshoe. You may bring your own or rent some for a small fee from the park office ahead of time.

This program will be cancelled if the weather conditions are severe.

All instruction is provided for free, but a vehicle permit ($7 for a one-day permit or $35 for a year-round permit) is required to enter all Minnesota State Parks. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
