Moorhead, MN – A Texas woman is dead following a head-on collision with a drunk driver in rural Moorhead this weekend.
The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the scene in Oakport Township at around 6:58 Saturday evening (February 22nd). Troopers say a pickup driven by 28-year-old Christopher Pink of Moorhead was travelling north on Highway 75 in the southbound lane and crashed into an SUV heading south.
The driver of the SUV, 43-year-old Jennifer Watson of Ennis, Texas, was killed in the crash.
Pink was arrested for criminal vehicular homicide while under the influence of alcohol and is in the Clay County jail awaiting formal charges.
