Red Flag Warning for 3-10-2025 (NWS)
Otter Tail County, MN – Residents in western Minnesota are being asked to avoid setting any outdoor fires today.
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning that will be in effect from 11 o’clock this morning until 7 tonight. Officials say any fires that ignite during this time will spread rapidly and become difficult to control.
The warning has been issued for West Otter Tail, East Otter Tail, Clay, Hubbard, West Becker, East Becker, Wilkin, Wadena and Grant counties.
State alleges 3M plant continues to pollute water
3M wants the case moved to federal court. The Maplewood-based company says it's not liable for the pollution because it manufactured firefighting foam on behalf of the U.S. military.
