Fergus Falls, MN – LB Homes in Fergus Falls is discontinuing its Home Care operations.
Interim Executive Director Heather Hickman says the organization’s Board of Directors came to the decision after facing ongoing staffing shortages, low reimbursement rates, and an increasingly saturated home care market.
In a statement, Hickman says, “To our Home Care clients, thank you for your trust and support of LB Homes. It has been an honor to serve you, and we deeply appreciate the relationships built along the way. As we transition, our commitment remains steadfast in ensuring continued care and support through connections with other home care providers.”
Moving forward, Hickman says that LB Homes will focus on its core services, LB Broen Home and the Sheridan House, and that the staff remains committed to delivering exceptional care and support through those two pillars of the organization.
