New York Mills, MN – A semi driver is hurt after high winds led to a crash near New York Mills Thursday.
State troopers say 55-year-old Olekfandr Ihnatenko from New Jersey was driving his semi east on Highway 10 near New York Mills around 3:30 Thursday afternoon. High winds from Thursday’s storm caused the semi to come off the road and roll into the median.
Ihnatenko was transported to Astera Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office and the New York Mill Fire and Police Departments.
