Otter Tail County, MN – A man has been sentenced for sexually coercing a minor in Otter Tail County.
Prosecutors say 22-year-old Jose Ramires of Freeport was temporarily living with a family in Otter Tail County when he coerced the 13-year-old daughter into acts of a sexual nature in May of 2024. The victim described to county deputies at least two occurrences of physically inappropriate behavior, and said that Ramires told her to not tell her parents.
Ramires pleaded guilty to 3rd Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct in April as part of a plea agreement. As of this morning, he has been sentenced to 48 months at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud.
