Fergus Falls, MN – A Fergus Falls man has been charged with seven counts of “revenge porn.”
Otter Tail County prosecutors say 40-year-old Joshua Caleb Corley knowingly uploaded sexually explicit videos of a woman online without her consent.
Court documents say Corley had been in a relationship with the victim when the videos were created, but the victim explicitly said that she did not want them posted or shared online. Less than a month after ending the relationship with Corley, the victim was made aware that sexual videos of her were posted online and had her Facebook profile picture attached. Investigators confirmed that the profile that uploaded the videos was linked to Corley.
About a month after the initial report, the victim showed investigators a new text conversation with Corley where she confirmed that she had not given consent to share those videos. The conversation also showed Corley apologizing for making the victim feel embarrassed by posting the videos and saying that when she started a new relationship, he was upset that he lost her.
Corley made his first court appearance on Monday, May 19th, and has been charged with seven counts of Nonconsensual Dissemination of Private Sexual Images.
