Fergus Falls, MN – Starting today (May 20th), drivers should expect lane closures in both directions on I-94 between Rothsay and Fergus Falls.
MnDOT says crews will be building crossovers, replacing guardrail and installing traffic control devices in preparation for concrete resurfacing on eastbound I-94.
When resurfacing begins in June, eastbound traffic will be directed onto the westbound lanes. There will be one-lane head-to-head traffic through the project area, fromĀ just west of County Road 11 near Rothsay to Highway 59 near Fergus Falls, until November.
While the westbound lanes carry both directions of traffic, the eastbound I-94 on-ramp at Highway 59 will close. Drivers on southbound Highway 59 who are traveling to eastbound I-94 will be detoured to County Road 88 through the city of Fergus Falls.
