Battle Lake, MN – Two people were injured after a multiple vehicle crash in rural Battle Lake Saturday afternoon.
State troopers say four vehicles were heading southwest on Highway 78 south of Battle Lake when traffic slowed and they collided.
The occupants of one sedan, 20-year-old Damaris Campbell of Perham and his 15-year-old passenger were transported to Perham Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The occupants of two of the other vehicles were not injured, and the fourth vehicle involved left the scene before law enforcement arrived. Alcohol is not believed to be involved.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Ottertail Fire and Rescue, and Henning and Battle Lake Ambulances.
