Barnesville, MN (KFGO) – A Barnesville native is dead after a minivan hit him while he was riding his bicycle last Sunday evening in west central Minnesota.
The crash happened shortly after 7:30 about 10 miles south of Willmar. 54-year-old Timothy Cayler of Lake Lillian was killed when the passing van struck his bike. Cayler died at the scene.
Cayler was the Director of Music Ministry at the Church of St. Mary’s in Willmar.
The Kandiyohi Sheriff’s Office, State Patrol, and several other first responders were at the scene.
