
Severe storms leave over 2,600 without power Saturday night. (LREC)
Pelican Rapids, MN – Early Saturday morning (June 21st), Lake Region Electric Cooperative reported that over 2,600 members were experiencing power outages following the severe thunderstorms.
At about 1:30 a.m., the company said they had 39 outages due to the severe weather.
LREC says its crews are being dispatched and are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power.
As of 5:30 a.m., 29 outages are still active, leaving over 800 customers without power.
