Fergus Falls, MN – For 70 years, Dairyland has been a staple of Fergus Falls. Now, long-time owners Pat and Jean Connolly are looking to pass the torch to a new generation.

On Thursday, the couple announced on a new episode of the Dairyland Unscripted podcast, that 2025 was going to be their last season running the iconic restaurant and that they are looking for someone to take over ownership.

Jean says the legacy of Dairyland is more than her and Pat, “It’s all about Dairyland. It’s really not about you and me. Yeah, we’ve been here, but it’s the community that comes here, and especially, it’s the kids. The kids we get to work with.”

Pat and Jean say that while the business continues to grow and succeed, it’s time for them to step away for their own health and wellbeing. The pair are very grateful for the life they’ve built in Fergus Falls. Jean says, “We’re very grateful and humbled to be able to be a part of Dairyland and the community.”

“And we’re ready to share that with the next owner,” Pat concludes.
