Fergus Falls, MN – Fergus Falls Area Habitat for Humanity is recognizing five local businesses and organizations for their generosity in supporting Habitat’s mission of building strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable housing.
This year, Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union, BMO Bank, Fergus Falls Noon Rotary Club, Otter Tail Power Company, and Vector Windows each contributed $5,000 or more toward Habitat’s homebuilding efforts. Fergus Falls Area Habitat Operations Manager Paul Shol says these sponsorships directly empower local families to achieve the dream of homeownership and help create lasting change in the community.
“The Affinity Plus Foundation is proud to support Fergus Falls Area Habitat for Humanity and their vision of ensuring everyone has a decent and affordable place to call home,” said Holly Picchiarini, Fergus Falls Branch Manager of Affinity Plus. “The Affinity Plus Foundation believes in people helping people and in 2025 has provided $150,000 in grant funding to Habitat for Humanity affiliates across Minnesota to help more families achieve the American dream.”
The funds provided by these Build Partners help cover essential construction materials, skilled labor, and volunteer support needed to complete Habitat homes. Shol says this ensures that more families in need have a safe, affordable place to call home.
“Fergus Falls Noon Rotary is proud to partner with Fergus Falls Area Habitat for Humanity to help this local partner family achieve safe and affordable housing,” said Noon Rotary Club member Katie Johnson. “Our club motto is ‘Connecting, Transforming & Sustaining through Service, Friendship & Acceptance,’ and our members are dedicated people with a passion for community service. This project and the services provided locally by FFAHFH align perfectly with our desire to make positive, lasting change in our community.”
