Battle Lake, MN – A man was hurt in a crash in rural Battle Lake Monday morning (September 15).
State troopers say that around 9:30 a.m., a pickup truck pulling a trailer and a mid-size car were heading north on Highway 78 south of Battle Lake and the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the car, 60-year-old Todd Lappegaard of Ashby, was transported to Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The 22-year-old pickup driver was not injured.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office and Ashby Ambulance.
