Ottertail, MN – Two people were injured after a rear-end collision near Rush Lake in Otter Tail County Friday afternoon (September 26).
State Troopers say a pickup and an SUV were both heading south on Highway 78 towards the city of Ottertail at around 4:30 p.m. when they collided.
The occupants of the SUV, 62-year-old Frank Jares of Battle Lake and 58-year-old Kimberly Jares of Ottertail, were transported to Perham Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The 16-year-old driver of the pickup was not injured.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Perham Fire, and Perham Ambulance.
