Battle Lake, MN – A Good Samaritan helped rescue a boater stranded on Otter Tail Lake.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says that on Saturday afternoon, deputies responded to a catamaran style sailboat that had capsized on the west side of Otter Tail Lake.
Upon arrival, deputies say a 23-year-old man from Wahpeton was already on the water in his own boat, and was trying to help the stranded boater. The Good Samaritan was able to assist the boater to upright the sailboat.
