Fergus Falls, MN – In a surprising turn of events, Sugar High Cannabis Consultation and Dispensary will be closing at the end of the day today, October 11.
Owner Emily McCune made the announcement Friday evening, saying, “Because of your overwhelming support this week, we are so limited on remaining inventory that we’ve made the decision to close earlier than we’d planned to and tomorrow will be our last day of business.”
In her Facebook post, McCune also thanked the Sugar High employees for their hard work and loyalty, saying, “My amazing Sugar High team have been showing up all week despite this terrible loss ahead of them – the loss of jobs that they have been dutifully showing up for since we opened our doors in 2022. They have done an amazing job serving you and will be doing so for just one more day.”
McCune made the decision to close Sugar High after the Fergus Falls City Council voted to not approve Sugar High’s application for cannabis registration earlier this week. Sugar High was originally going to close on October 31.
