Game On! New Arcade Opens in Downtown Fergus Falls This Halloween

Fergus Falls, MN – This Halloween, Arcadium: Zakk’s Arcade Emporium opens in downtown Fergus Falls.

Owner Zakk Daniels says he thought long and hard about how he wanted to go about this venture. “I really just wanted to create something that’s all ages that kind of steps outside the realm of like a bar, but still has like the fun environment of a community space,” Zakk says. “Where people can get together and relax and kind of enjoy the entertainment aspects of an arcade and pool hall.”

Along with arcade games, Arcadium features darts, billiards, and a hockey table. Unlike a typical arcade, Arcadium will feature not just a jukebox, but also a stage for live performers. Another unique aspect Zakk is implementing is the “cyber-cafe,” giving gamers a place to bring their laptops and play games outside of their home.

Zakk says Arcadium will be an, “ongoing, building conquest” as he builds it up to being a “real, full-on emporium.”

Arcadium: Zakk’s Arcade Emporium at 112 E Washington Avenue will open its doors at 12 p.m. on Friday, October 31.
