Breckenridge, MN – The Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of coyote sightings in the City of Breckenridge, especially near the Bois de Sioux Golf Course.
Sheriff Tony Harris says there have been reports of coyotes approaching humans and pets. The Sheriff’s Office, Breckenridge Police, and the DNR are working with local landowners to address the incidents and ensure public safety.
Harris says to avoid approaching or interacting with any wildlife and to report any unusual or aggressive animal behavior to the Sheriff’s Office, Breckenridge Police, or the DNR.
