Battle Lake, MN – Multiple lake cabins were lost in a large fire north of Battle Lake early Saturday morning.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says fire crews responded tot the 28000 block of Augustana trail in Amor township on the northwest side of Otter Tail Lake shortly before 3 a.m. Three cabins were caught in the blaze and appear to be a complete loss.
Deputies say the buildings were unoccupied at the time and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Battle Lake, Ottertail, Underwood, Fergus Falls, and Perham Fire Departments, as well as the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
