Fergus Falls, MN – Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) has earned a five-star rating as one of the nation’s Top Hospitals in the “Forbes Top Hospitals 2026” list released earlier this month.
Approximately 5,400 hospitals in the United States were considered and only 2,500 met the inclusion criteria. Lake Region Healthcare was one of only 253 hospitals to achieve the overall five-star rating.

According to Forbes, the methodology used to rank hospitals included healthcare quality measures that assess patient outcomes, hospital best practices, value, and patient experience with the intention to help patients find hospitals that can offer to-notch, high value medical services.
