Sebeka, MN – One is dead and another injured following a crash south of Sebeka Monday morning.
State troopers say that around 6:45 a.m., a sedan was heading south on U.S. Highway 71, when it veered into the northbound lane and collided with a pickup. The 87-year-old driver of the sedan from Sebeka was killed in the crash, and the 60-year-old driver of the pickup from Hewitt was injured.
The identities of the drivers and further details are being withheld pending notification of family. Troopers say the road was covered in snow and ice at the time of the crash.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office, Wadena Ambulance, and the Sebeka Fire Department.
