Frazee, MN – Two Frazee men have been charged with intentionally firing a firearm that endangered the safety of another.

Prosecutors say the victim was at home on Memorial Day weekend when they heard what they thought were bullets rounds going over the house but later found bullet holes in their home. An Otter Tail County deputy discovered that neighbors 48-year-old Cory Bonebrake and 57-year-old David Karg were holding a social gathering at Bonebrake’s home and people had been doing target practice with an AR rifle in the direction of the victim’s house. The deputy spoke with the men and found that the wood line they had been shooting towards was an unsafe backstop.

At the victim’s residence, the deputy observed bullet holes, as well as bullet fragments, in a closet inside the home and in an outward-facing door. A professional inspection later found more bullet holes in the home.

Bonebrake and Karg have been charged with intentional discharge of a firearm that endangers safety and made their first court appearance on Monday morning.
