Dalton, MN – Two pickup drivers were hurt in separate crashes on I-94 Saturday night.
State troopers say that around 8:35 p.m., a Ford F-150 was heading west on the snow and ice covered interstate, near Dalton, when it went into the ditch. The driver, 36-year-old Lucas Gaukler of Dalton, was transported to Lake Region Healthcare for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Earlier in the evening, shortly after 6, a GMC Sierra was heading west on I-94 near Sabin when it rolled into the median. Troopers say 25-year-old Joseph Thomssen of Barnesville suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Essentia Hospital for treatment.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Dalton Fire Department, Ashby Ambulance, Sabin Fire and Barnesville EMS.
