Otter Tail County, MN – As Children’s Dental Health Month launches in February, local public health professionals are urging families who need affordable dental care and are enrolled in Minnesota Health Care Programs or Minnesota Medical Assistance to use the opportunity of oral health services available throughout the region.
“Every child deserves a healthy smile,” said Jane Neubauer, Regional Dental Innovations and Early Childhood Dental Network Coordinator. “We have excellent resources in our area — and mobile services available in many local communities for families who need help finding a dental provider. Reach out and learn about what’s available for your family! ”
Several dental clinics are scheduled in Otter Tail and Wilkin Counties this year, offering preventive services to children. Dental health staff perform cleanings, exams, fluoride treatments and other preventive services. Providers bill insurance and accept all types of insurance. If a patient does not have insurance, a sliding fee scale is applied.
