Man Arrested in Connection with Missing West Fargo Woman

Fargo, ND – Fargo Police say a man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of 25-year-old Isadora Wengel.

On Tuesday afternoon, police officers, with assistance from the Metro Street Crimes Unit, arrested 21-year-old Joshua Alexander Hite outside of his apartment without incident. Based on the evidence and information collected as part of the investigation, probable cause was established to arrest Hite for the charges of Murder and Tampering with Evidence.

No additional information is being released at this time. A news conference will be held to provide an update on the investigation at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11. The Fargo Police Department is continuing to ask for the public’s assistance if they have any information regarding Wengel’s disappearance.

Wengel was reported missing on January 7 to the West Fargo Police Department. Since that time, a joint investigation into her disappearance has been ongoing.
