Fergus Falls, MN – The Avis Bridal Wedding and Runway Show is returning to the Bigwood Event Center after a successful debut last year.
Sidney Meder, owner of Avis Bridal, says the event is a great opportunity for future brides to talk with local vendors, “This is your opportunity to talk one on one with them and get your questions answered right away, instead of filling out one of those online email forms where you don’t hear back for a week.”
She says she’s always planned on putting on this kind of bridal show, and hopes to one day also host a gala-type event, “I’ve wanted to host those kind of fun events that gives Fergus Falls the opportunity to get dressed up and go out.”
Meder thinks the show will be bigger than last year’s, “My expectations are a little heightened, I’m a little more nervous this year, but last year was a blast! Everyone just had a lot of fun.”
This year’s Avis Bridal Wedding and Runway Show will be held on Saturday, March 7 at the Bigwood Event Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Runway Show starts at 1 p.m.
