Dairyland Welcomes New Owner Ahead of 71st Season

Fergus Falls, MN – Dairyland in Fergus Falls has found its new owner.

On Friday, April 3, Pat and Jean Connolly announced that they sold the iconic restaurant to Rachel Larson. Rachel is originally from Fergus Falls but currently lives in Montana. With this new venture, she and her family will be moving back to town this summer. Rachel says, “We’re excited to be back in the community. My younger two kids will be going to school here and all three of my boys will work in the business as well.”

Pat and Jean will be operating Dairyland for Rachel until June, at which point they will work with her for about a month to ensure a smooth transition. Pat says, “Fun, exciting things lie ahead and Fergus Falls gets to have Dairyland remain part of the community.”

Dairyland will open for its 71st season on Wednesday, April 15.
