Parkers Prairie, MN – A man formerly from Henning has been sentenced for threatening to shoot a woman in her home.
On Monday, 34-year-old Christopher Alan Ruth was sentenced to 21 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud for threats of violence.
Prosecutors say that on January 20, Ruth and the victim were sleeping in the victim’s apartment in Parkers Prairie, when Ruth woke her up and started to argue with her. The victim said she was calling the police, at which point he left.
Court documents say Ruth then crawled up on a roof an entered the victim’s bedroom, telling her that her life was going to crumble and that one day he’d “f***ing shoot her.”
Ruth pleaded guilty to threatening violence in February.
