Erhard, MN – Authorities in Otter Tail County are investigating a fire that left a home completely destroyed Thursday afternoon.
At around 4:55 p.m., deputies received a report of a structure fire at a home on 345th street, south of Erhard. By the time crews arrived, the residence was fully involved and ultimately deemed a total loss. Crews from the Pelican Rapids, Elizabeth, and Rothsay Fire Departments assisted in extinguishing the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation with the assistance of the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
