Detroit Lakes, MN – A Fergus Falls man was hospitalized following a crash on Highway 34 east of Detroit Lakes Sunday night.
State troopers say that around 8:15 p.m., a minivan driven by 50-year-old John Grady of Fergus Falls was heading west on Highway 34 in Erie Township, and a pickup was heading north on County Road 29 when the two collided.
Grady was transported to Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Detroit Lakes for treatment on non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver was not hurt. Troopers say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, Frazee Rescue, Detroit Lakes Fire, and Essentia Ambulance.
