Phil Hatlie. (FF Area Habitat)
Fergus Falls, MN – This Saturday, July 25 (weather permitting), Phil Hatlie, the recently retired Finance Director of Habitat for Humanity Minnesota, will take on an incredible challenge—swimming across Otter Tail Lake to raise funds supporting Fergus Falls Area Habitat for Humanity and the Family Tree Clinic in the Twin Cities.
After four surgeries in just three years, Phil committed himself to rehabilitation and training. What began as a challenge from a friend has become a meaningful fundraiser for two organizations that are close to his heart.
Phil will swim between 2.5 and 4 miles, depending on weather conditions. The Fergus Falls Area Habitat for Humanity says the organization is cheering him on and is grateful for his dedication and determination.
