WISSOTA 100 Races Cancelled Due to Rain Resume This Morning

Fergus Falls, MN – Due to rain showers that started at 7:30 p.m., the remaining portion of Wednesday night’s Speedway Motors WISSOTA 100 program has been postponed to Thursday, September 17.

Racing is scheduled to resume at 11:00 AM Thursday. Pit gates will open at 9:00 AM, with the grandstands opening at 10:00 AM.

The Wednesday night program will resume with WISSOTA Modified Heat Race No. 4. Due to rain beginning at the start of the race Wednesday night, Heat Race No. 4 will be a complete restart from lap zero. From there, the remainder of Wednesday’s program will continue in its originally scheduled running order.

All Wednesday tickets will be honored. However, because the pits and grandstands will not be swept prior to Thursday’s racing, a Thursday ticket will be required for admission to both the grandstands and pit area for all racing taking place Thursday.

Thursday’s regularly scheduled Speedway Motors WISSOTA 100 program remains on as scheduled, with one adjustment to the running order: the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds and WISSOTA Street Stocks will swap positions in the lineup.
